Our History
In 2001, April Thomas founded Newberry Contracting, Inc., achieving her goal to be the founder and sole owner of a woman-owned specialty contracting business. For 25 years, April and her team built a reputation of exceptional service, trust, quality, and safety while building relationships with some of the largest utilities, energy, and industrial companies in the Southeast. After years of successful partnering on mission-critical projects, CapPro, Inc. acquired Newberry Contracting in June of 2026.
